About ZorvLabs
ZorvLabs is a Free, ad-free browser-based collection of calculators for finance and engineering — from loan amortization and bond pricing to beam deflection and signal analysis. Every calculator runs entirely on your device: the numbers you enter never leave your browser, because there is no server doing the math. There is no account, no signup and no paywall for the core experience. Optional Pro and Ultra packaging is documented transparently; billing and entitlement verification are not connected yet.
How the calculators work
Each calculator implements a published formula or numerical method — the annuity-immediate payment formula for loans, Black-Scholes and its Greeks for options, Euler–Bernoulli beam theory for deflection, and so on. The method, a worked example with real numbers, and the assumptions behind it are documented on every calculator page, together with the date the methodology was last reviewed. Where a computation could be ambiguous (day-count conventions, compounding frequency, regional rules), the page states which convention is used.
Our quality standard
- Formulas cite their reference (textbook or standard) on the page.
- Engines are tested against independent reference values, including textbook examples and closed-form special cases, with an automated test suite that runs on every change.
- Edge cases — zero interest rates, extreme inputs, division by zero — are handled explicitly instead of returning blank or nonsense results.
- Monte Carlo simulations are seeded and reproducible: the same inputs and seed produce the same result.
- Every calculator page carries a "last reviewed" date. When we change a method, we change the date and document the change.
What ZorvLabs is not
Results are informational. Nothing on this site is financial, investment, tax or engineering advice, and no output should be the sole basis for a decision that affects your money or safety. See the full disclaimer and the per-category methodology pages for how results are produced and what they do and don't account for.
Contact
Corrections, bug reports and suggestions are welcome — see the contact page. If you believe a calculator's formula or reference values are wrong, that report is the one we prioritize.
